The Hideaway
El Escondite — the hideaway — is a small beachfront house of just four suites, set directly on the sand in the fishing village of Las Peñitas. Three serene suites occupy the ground floor; above them, an entire upper suite opens to the sky.
Everything here is private — the pool, the patios, the long stretch of Pacific beyond the gate. There is no day pass and no crowd; the house is shared only by the guests of its four suites. Take a single room, or take the whole house. Either way, the place is yours.

The Ground Floor

Room 04 · The Upper Floor
The entire second floor is a single grand suite — the most exclusive room in the house. Beyond the air-conditioned bedroom, a private terrace unfolds with an open-air living room, a dining table set under the stars, and a full outdoor kitchen, all facing the ocean.
It is the highest, quietest perch in the house — sleeping up to five, a place to cook slowly, dine late, and watch the sun fall into the Pacific.
Pool & Beachfront
The pool belongs to the house alone — no day pass, no crowds, no loungers to claim at dawn. Past the patio, the sand runs uninterrupted along one of the Pacific's great surf coasts, where the sunsets are unhurried and entirely yours.
Exclusive Use
Book all four suites and El Escondite becomes a private villa — six bedrooms, room for up to sixteen, with the pool, the patios, the upper suite's kitchen and the beach in front reserved for your family or friends alone. It is, quite simply, the most private way to meet the Pacific.
Getting Here
A fishing village on Nicaragua's Pacific shore, edged by the Juan Venado Island nature reserve — mangroves, estuary birds, and long empty beaches. Close enough to the city for ease, far enough for quiet.
